About Me

My mom and me.

Crafting was a way of life for me growing up. My mom had a constant supply of colorful pipe cleaners, pompoms, wiggly eyes, felt, fake fur, and paint, among other supplies. We learned early how to use a glue gun without doing too much damage to our fingers. And we were only limited by our imaginations.

I learned to craft and sew from my mom. My dad taught me to knit. And I took the skills they gave me, gathered others from other people and places, and kept building on what came before and practicing to get better.

It’s taken many years but my crafting ability is now matching the vision I have in my head and crafting is at a whole new level of fun for me. I love learning new skills and trying new techniques and tools.

After a lifetime of crafting with my mom I now love crafting with and for my kids. I especially love making things they can play and imagine with and seeing what amazing things they will come up with.

Let’s learn, make, grow, and dream together!

About My Kids

Having so much fun together with my kids.

I’m the proud mom of 4 kids who love to see what I’ll come up with next. They are big into the research and development side of this project, coming up with new ideas, telling me what I should do next, then testing out the prototypes. They are my reason for everything.

Our oldest is 8 and she’s still convinced I’m the smartest person in the world. I’m on a mission to help her maintain that belief as long as I can.

Our twins are 6 and such an amazing adventure. Watching the two of them play together is a never-ending source of amusement and amazement.

Our youngest is 4, but don’t tell him that. He thinks he’s as old as his siblings and does a real good job of keeping up with them too. He’s also the best cuddler in the world.
